Metis Nation British Columbia was looking for a pair of pop-up banners that would showcase important traditional elements, while also appealing to a youth demographic to become involved with traditional artisan crafts.

To make this happen, we decided to focus the banners on the traditional Metis Sash, which is a beautiful flat-woven textile that has symbolic colours woven into the fabric. Another example of the crafting is the beading on the top corner.
